In the name of God Amen. I Daniel Pipkin of Horry District
South Carolina planter being weak in body but of sound mine
and memory Blesed be the Almighty God for the same. do make
and publish this my last will and testament in maner and form
folowing
1th I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Lucy Pipkin one
feather Bead and furniture with my Lot of Cotten.
2nd It is my will and desier that all the Resedue of my
Estate both Real and personal that I may die posest of to wit,
two tracks of land containing about Seven hundred and fifty
acres more or less a stock of Cattle and hogs and Sheep houshold
and kitchen furniture one handmill one grinstone one horse
and my fier armes one Boate and plantation tools, be sold and
an equal division be made betwean my beloved wife Lucy Pipkin
and my beloved Sone James Pipkin and my beloved daughter Ann
Russ Mary Russ and Jane Pipkin Single woman - which said several
legacies or sums of money I will and order shall be paid
to the Respective legatees within twelve month after my deceas.
by my Executors not yet namd
3rd And it is my will that my Daughter Elizabeth Rogers be paid
by my Executors the sum of one dollar fo(r) her share of all
the Estate that I may die posest of, both Real and personal
4th and lastly I heare by apoint my Sone James Pipkin and my
Sone in law John Russ my Sole Executors of this my Last will
and testament and hear by Revoking all former wills by me maid.
In witnes whearof I have hearunto set my hand and Seal this
10th day of August in the year of our Lord 1824

By John Durant Ordinary Personally appeared before me John Guyton who
being duly sworn on the holy Evangelists of Almighty God doth make oath and say that he
saw Daniel Pipkin sign seal publish pronounce and Declare the same to be and contain his last will and testament that he the said Daniel Pipkin was then of a sound and disposing mind memory and understanding to the best of the deponents knowledge and belief and that John R L Guyton and Aaron Daniel togather with this deponant signed their names as witness there to at the request of the testator in his presents and in the presents of each other -- at the same time quallifyed James Pipkin and John Russ Executors -- John Guyton
