Entry Officer of Claims for Lands in the County of Dobbs

To the Surveyor of the said County, Greeting,

You are hereby required, as soon as may be, to lay off and survey, for Elisha Pipkin a Tract or Parcel of Land, containing five hundred Acres, lying in the County aforesaid, on the North side of Falling Creek Begining at his own line near Joshua Granthams Joining Benja Jernigans, John Bizzels & Joseph Pipkins lines.

Observing the Directions of the Act of Assembly in such Case made and provided for running out Lands. Two just and fair Plans of such Survey, with a proper Certificate annexed to each, you are to transmit, with this Warrant, to the Secretary's Office without Delay.

Survey'd for Elisha Pipkin a plantation containing five hundred acres land in Dobbs County on the North side falling Creek, Begining at a black Jack in Jos. Pipkin's line & runs therewith North twelve West one hundred & Seventy poles to a black Jack his Corner, then with his other line South Eight West Eighty Eight poles to a white Oak on Kellys branch. Then up the meaders of said branch as North forty five West one hundred & twenty poles to a pine in his own line, then North ninety Eight poles to a pine in Bratcher's line, then with said line North forty East one hundred & six poles to a white Oak, then East Two hundred forty & five poles to a persimmons in Bizzel's line, then with his South one hundred Eighty & five poles to a pine his own Corner, then with his own line to the begining.
