Entry Officer of Claims for Lands in the County of Dobbs
To the Surveyor of the said County, Greeting,
You are hereby required, as soon as may be, to lay off and survey, for Joseph
Pipkin a Tract or Parcel of Land, containing two hundred and fifty Acres,
lying in the County aforesaid, Begining at Benjamin Jernigans line Joining
Jesse Musgrave Joseph Session & Stephen Pipkins lines.
Observing the Directions of the Act of Assembly in such Case made and provided
for running out Lands. Two just and fair Plans of such Survey, with a proper
Certificate annexed to each, you are to transmit, with this Warrant, to the
Secretary's Office without Delay.

Survey'd for Joseph Pipkin a plantation contain'g Two hundred acres Land in
Dobbs County on the North side falling Creek. Begining at a Gum John Bizzel's
Corner & runs North forty Seven poles to a pine in Rob't Eaches line, then
with his North fifty five West one hundred fifty eight poles to a white oak
his Corner, then his line North thirty five East one hundred & thirty poles to
a pine Jos. Sessions Corner then with his North forty five West Two hundred &
seventy poles to a red Oak his Corner then with John Bryan's line South
Seventy Seven West thirty two poles to a Hickory his Corner, then with Rd.
Cogdell's line South thirty Eight East one hundred forty seven poles to a pine
his Corner, then with his other line South ten East One hundred Eighty & two
poles to a pine in Lewis Pipkin's line, then to the begining.
