Estelle Pipkin Gwynn died at her home in Modesto, CA, on 5 Jun 1990.
She was born in Antlers on 21 Jun 1914, the daughter of Paris and
Inez Farr Pipkin. 

After graduating from Antlers High School in 1932, she attended Draughn's
Business College in Tulsa, OK.

Estelle married John Allen Banks in 1936 and they were living in Antlers
at the time of the Tornado in April 1945. She was seriously injured when
her home was air lifted about 3/4 of a block. They moved to Modesto in
1954, where Mr. Banks died in 1963. In 1966, she married Chris Gwynn who
died in 1974.

She was a 20 year employee of Sears Roebuck company of Modesto and a 
member of Trinity Presbyterian Church of that city.

Surviving relatives include one sister: Miss Anna Farr Pipkin, Modesto,
CA and one brother, Col. William Philip Pipkin of Leavenworth, KS.

Interment was in Ceres Cemetery, CA. She died of ovarian cancer.
