This Indenture made the Eleventh Day of November in the yeair of our Lord one thousand Seaven Hundred and Ninity three Between Stephen Taylor of Glasgow County and State of North Carolina Planter of the one part and Jesse Pipkin of the other part, in sd. State And County Witnesseth That I the sd. Stephen Taylor for and in Consideration of the sum of twenty pound Specie to Me in hand paid by the said Jesse Pipkin the Receipt where of I the sd. Stephen Taylor I do Here by Acknowledge myself There with fully Satisfied Contented and paid and of Every part & parcel there of Exonerate aquit and discharge the sd. Jesse Pipkin His Heirs and assigns for Ever Have given Granted Bargained Sold Alined set Over & Confirmed unto the sd. Jesse Pipkin his Heirs Executors Administrators or Assigns for ever A Certain Tract or parcil of Land Situate in Glasgo County.

Beginning at A Stake in the given line of the Tract thence with A line of Marked trees To a post Oak thence to the first line in the patent leaving fifty Acres out of the Tract at the North Corner that fifty acres Including the plantation and Improvements Where on Lucia Grizard Now lives on All the remaining part of the Land granted to Betty Wise by patten baring date one thousand seven Hundred and eighty three as by Record had Been Had and will More plainly Make Appear To have and to hold sd. Granted & Bargained land and premises & every Part & parcel there of unto Him the sd. Jesse Pipkin his Heirs Executors And behoof sd. Granted and Bargained Land & premises Inclucing the Parcel there of Free and Clear from all Manner of Incumbrances whatsoever the sd. Granted and Bargained land & premises against me and my Heirs & against all and every oth’r person or persons whatsoever claiming from under Me or them to the sd. Jesse Pipkin his Heirs or Assigns for Ever will warrant and forever defend in Witness whose I have here unto Set my Hand Seal the day and year above Written.
