In Obedience to an order of Pitt County Court February Term 1809 to the under signed Commissioners directed to lay off and appropriate and divide the lands of Lewis Pipkin deceased amongst the legal representatives of said dec'd we have laid off and appropriated the land as followith.
Lott No 1 We have lade off unto Nancy Pipkin one of the heirs of said dec'd her distribution shares as followith - Beginning at a pine in the bare marsh John Moyes corner running south sixty degrees east seventy six pole to a pine the corner of Lott No 2 then running south five degrees east one hundred and thirty pole to a stake at the south east corner of the orchard it being a corner of the dower lott then along the dower line north eighty seven degrees east sixteen pole to a stake in said line then south two degrees west twenty nine pole to a stake in the field then running north eighty six degrees east ninety eight pole to a gum on the run of Ready branch then down the run and winding of Ready branch to the run of Sandy run swamp or creek then up the run and windings of the run of Sandy run to the mouth of Spring branch then running up the run and windings of the Spring branch to the beginning containing by estimation ninety nine acres of land and to pay Lott No 2 seventy five dollars by said Nancy.
Lott No 2 We have laid off and appropriated unto Mary Olds wife of Frederick Olds her share she being one of the heirs of said dec'd her share as followith - Beginning at a pine and stake the second corner of Lott No 1 then running along said line south five degrees east one hundred and thirty pole to the dower corner at the corner of the orchard then running along the dower line north eight seven degrees east sixteen pole to a stake then south two degrees west twenty nine pole to a stake then running along the other line of No 1 north eighty six east ninety eight pole to a gum on Ready branch then up the run of Ready branch to a stump a small distance below Emanuel Turnages barn on side of Ready branch then north thirty degrees west sixty pole to a stake Moyes corner then south sixty west to a white oak James McKlewain corner then north sixty degrees west along Asa Bakers line north ninety nine poles to the beginning containing by estimation ninety six acres of land and to receive from Lott No 1 Nancy Pipkin is to pay Mary Olds seventy five dollars to make her share equal in value.

Pitt County May Term 1809 the Commissioners appointed to divide the lands of Lewis Pipkin dec'd amongst his heirs have returned their report ordered to be registered.
