Genee Watt Arizona Republic - Obituary Department - Wed, March 1, 2006, p B11 Genee WATT, born Margaret Imogene COLLEY, November 3, 1911 in OK, died February 25, 2006. She was the daughter of Oscar B. Colley born KY, and Mary Ida PIPKIN born AR. She moved with her family to northern CA in 1914 where her parents worked for the US Indian Service, and spent her girlhood near Fresno. She attended business college and worked many years as a secretary and stenographer. She married George Watt in Las Vegas, Nevada, December 28, 1940, and was a devoted mother. Genee was known for her big smile and enjoyed many friends. She enjoyed camping and fishing in her retirement years. She was predeceased by a son, Jim Garland, in 1963. She is survived by her husband, George, daughters Diane Watt Sumrall (Don) of Scottsdale, AZ and Jan Watt Meyer (Bob) of Sun City, AZ; and grandchildren Deborah Bender (Don) of Washington DC, Greg Sumrall (Trish) of Phoenix, and Colin Sumrall (Linda) of Knoxville, TN, and great-grandson, Douglas Sumrall. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Genee’s name to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St. Phoenix, AZ 85014.
