Born Wilma Pipkin, 11 May 1924 near Pratt, she married James M. Smallin 20 Nov 1942 in San Francisco. She was a member of West Portal Lutheran Church, San Francisco, DAR, Eastern Star, and Daughters of the Nile-Islan Temple and also a member of National Genealogical Society, California Genealogical Society, the Hugenot Society, the Ladies Aid of the Church and the PFA. She was a graduate of Pratt High School. Survivors: widower of the home; son, Mark Smallin, San Francisco; brother Joe Pipkin, CA; sisters, Mrs. Opal Cook, McComb, MS; Marian Lenkner, Coats, KS. She was preceeded in death by one brother, Dale. Funeral was 5 Dec, at 10:30 a.m. at West Portal Lutheran Church. Rev. Sam Battles and Rev. Michael Keynes. Burial was at Olivet Memorial Park, Colma, CA. Condolences to the family and to Opal and Marian who are members of the PFA. This loss was doubly hard for Opal. Her son, Dwayne Cook was reported lost at sea on 10 Sep 1983. His ship was enroute from Panama to Columbia when the accident happened. William Philip Pipkin
